Audre Lorde Our sisters* all over the world are fighting every day. We find that their voices, experiences, fights, struggles are not being heard. With this initiative we want to connect our struggles, make politics together and formulate common demands. Together we are amplifying and translating women*’s voices (their analyses, demands, appeals and perspectives) in order to create connections and to strengthen the organisation of our worldwide feminist struggle. Although we all fight in different territories and live different experiences, we share the strength, the will and the conviction that together we are stronger and we are here for each other

In Berlin, Respect is a voluntary association of women of different backgrounds. Many women without legal residence status work in private households. In Germany they have hardly any chance of legalising their work and residence. The public is little interested in working conditions and refuses to recognise the social relevance of housework and those who do it. Instead, the focus is on “illegality”." Therefore Respect demands, above all: "'#LegalisierungJetzt! (LegalizeNow!)
